Bai Nationality-Taiping Festival

Bai Taiping Festival, developed so far has500Many years of history, belong to the traditional folk temple. In the first month of each year, we choose a lucky day for four days. On the first three days, we eat vegetarian food and chant Buddha. On the fourth day, we offer three small live fish, called "Xie Jian", "you adult" (carrying the paper "heavenly king king" to walk around the street) and "worship the dragon god". After that, 3-5 people carry knives and sticks to every household to exorcise evil and reduce disasters. The festival integrates singing and dancing, cave scriptures, wandering gods, opening light, and eating. Incense cases, offerings, water purification, and a firecracker are placed in front of every household. The team of wandering gods wore masks and held swords, spears and halberds to exorcise evil and avoid evil. The whole ceremony was full of Buddhist colors.

A group of people were smeared red and smeared, dressed as devils and ghosts, holding demon-removing instruments, and going door to door to drive ghosts and exorcise evil spirits in order to be blessed by the gods and Buddhas.
